Due to my knowledge, the animals in this world have face a big problem namely, the problem of extinction. Extinctionis an evolutive process that leads to the disappearance of a species or a population. Factor that cause this problem is habitat destruction (due to agricultural land conversion, deforestation
or urbanisation), increased human population, pollution, global warming,
overhunting/fishing, poaching or the introduction of alien species to
an environment.
Many animals that we haven't see it before just can find through Internet. Thus, we must protect all of the animals that near extinction. This will help to maintain the sustainability of environment and our generation have the chance to see all of this special animals. Through the research of Institute of Zoology, there also have some types of animals that in danger of extinction.
1. Mexican gray wolf
* Conservation efforts
* Completely disappeared in the wild
2. Jaguar
* Hunted for their fur, a prized trophy
* Farmers expand their territories near
jaguars and often defend their flock killing the
potential predators.
3. Panda bear
* Less than 2,500
* Native of the southwest of China
* Symbol of the fight against deforestation and
illegal hunting
4. Magellanic penguin
* Rise in global temperature
* Fish that inhabit the icy waters of
Antarctica are emigrating because of
warming of ocean currents
5. Polar bear
* Climate change and melting of the Arctic
pole
* Difficulty in getting food and sometimes
distances too long to swim.
6. Baulan turtle
* Attract tourism, accidental fishing, water
contamination and hunting for their
shells, meat or eggs
7. Sumatran orangutan
* Can only be found in Borneo and
Sumatra.
8. Irrawaddy river dolphin
companies and poaching
* Have National Park of Virunga for their
preservation
10.Vaquita Porpoise
* Lives in the Gulf of Mexico
* Fishing with nets
*This species does not exist anywhere else on the planet.
11. Asian elephant
* Deforestation of their habitat
* Poaching to obtain the valuable ivory of their
tusks.
12. Red tuna
*Reduced its population by 85% in recent
years
*Sushi boom has targeted this fish.
13. Tiger
* Human invasion of its habitat

and Southeastern Asia, especially
concentrated in the Mekong (Vietnam,

* Contamination in the area and method use to
