Environment

What is environment? Environment is the sum total of all surroundings of a living organism, including natural forces and other living things, which provide conditions for development and growth as well as of danger and damage. Environment can be devided into 2 types, namely natural environment and built environment.

Natural environment is the set of living and non-living things on Earth which occur in a state substantially not influenced by humans. There have a lot of natural environment in our Earth such as:
  1. Plants
  2. Animals
  3. Sun
  4. River
  5. Soil
  6. Forest
  7. Air
  8. Wind

Moreover, build environment refers to the human-made surroundings that provide the setting for human activity, ranging in scale from buildings and parks or green space to neighbourhoods and cities that can often include their supporting infrastructure, such as water supply or energy networks. The example of the build environment has:

  1. Building
  2. Road
  3. Bridge
  4. Bus station
  5. Airport
  6. Park

In this 2 types of environment, it has a relationship between each other. The development of build environment has cause a negative effect on natural environment. The natural environment has become less especially that plants and animal who lose their living place because of the increasing of population make the build environment displace the natural environment. In directly, it will destroy the sustainability of environment.
