Haze

I believe that many people will not feel strange about the word "HAZE". Haze is traditionally an atmospheric phenomenon where dust, smoke and other dry particles obscure the clarity of the sky. In this recent months, the problem of haze has become the topic of people. This is because compare with the past, the problem of haze is very serious in this year.

This problem happen because of the forest fires in Indonesia. Every year Indonesia sees agriculture fires in Riau province in East Sumatra,South Sumatra, and parts of Kalimatan on Indonesia Borneo. The fires are said to be caused by corporations as well as small-scale farmers who use the slash-and-burn method to clear vegetation for palm oil, pulp and paper plantations.

This attitude has made the Indonesia facing a serious haze problem until many people getting sick or died. This problem was not just happen in Indonesia, the haze also spread into Malaysia and Singapore. The haze serious until the haze cover all the things and we can't recognize it. The belowing video is showing the situation of haze in Indonesia.

In short, the government must start to take action or enforce the law. This is not just a problem for one country only, other places also getting influence because of this haze. The health of human beings will be influenced by the haze such as maybe we eill getting lung cancer bacause the haze is contain a lot of toxic. Thus, it is very important for us to protect ourslef and the environment from any environment problem.
Air Pollution

Air pollution is the introduction of particulates, biological molecules, or other harmful materials into Earth's atmosphere. Through the Environmental Research Institue the atmosphere of our's Earth has become more thicken. Air pollution can result from both human and natural actions. Natural events that pollute the air include forest fires, volcanic eruptions, wind erosion, pollen dispersal, evaporation of organic compounds and natural radioactivity. Pollution from natural occurrences are not very often.

In my opinion, the air pollution is more cause by human being activities that include:

1. Emissions from industries and manufacturing activities

Waste incinerators, manufacturing industries and power plants emit high levels of carbon monoxide, organic compounds, and chemicals into the air. This happens almost everywhere that people live. Petroleum refineries also release lots of hydrocarbons into the air.

2. Burning Fossil Fuels
Cars and heavy duty trucks, trains, shipping vessels and airplanes all burn lots of fossil fuels to work. This is a major cause of pollution, and one that is very difficult to manage. This is because humans rely heavily on vehicles and engines for transporting people, good and services. Fumes from car exhauts contain dangerous gases such as carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, hydrocarbons and particulates. On their own, they cause great harm to people who breath them. Additionally, they react with environmental gases to create further toxic gases.

3.  Open Burning
Many people always dispose their rubbish through open burning. This is because they think that this is the easiest way to dispose the rubbish and no nedd to recognize the rubbish that can be recycle. Open burning will produce toxic gases such as carbon dioxide especially if someone burning the plastic, it will provide more toxic.

All of this activities has made the atmosphere become more thicker. In directly, the temperature will increase and make many flora and fauna died. Those types of toxic also will effect our health which can cause the lung cancer. Thus, don't make our's Earth become worst, because it already starting getting sick.

Water Pollution

Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies, example, river, lake, ocean, aquifers and groundwater.Over two third of Earth's surface is covered by water, but because of the increasing of water pollution, many state's water totally can't be used for drink, wash the vegetables or shower. This is because the water pollution has been polluted and contains some toxic that will effect our health or sensitive of our skin.

Everything happened for a reason. The factor that cause water pollution also cannot denied that it still because of the human being's activities. For example:

 1.Rubbish

Many people always like to threw the rubbish at will such as beside the road, river or ditch although sometimes the rubbish is just nearby them. When all the rubbish threw into the river or sea, it will pollute the water especially the plastic which is not biodegradable. Moreover, sometimes the turtle will in mistake for eating the plastic because they think that it just a jellyfish. In directly, it will increase the extinction of turtle.

2. Oil Pollution

Oil pollution is the release of a liquid petroleum hydrocarbon into the environment, especially marine areas, due to human activity, and is a form of pollution. For an example, a ship carrying large quantity of oil may spill oil if met with an accident and can cause varying damage to species in the ocean depending on the quantity of oil spill, size of ocean, toxicity of pollutant. When the oil has cover the surface of sea, it will withstand the air or sunlight spread in the sea for the local marine wildlife. As time passes, all the marine will died.
Go Green Activity

Nowadays, because of many human being's activity that make all the pollution and destroying the environment, as one part of the member in this world, we must do something to ours Earth. In my opinion, the best way is participate in "Go Green Activity". Go Green means that means to make choices that reduce, minimize, or even attempt to reverse the negative impact of your actions on the earth and its resources.
Through this activity, it can help us to reduce many rubbish, save many things and help to safe our environment. Then, in this activity, what should we do? There have some ways to go green and save green:

a. Save energy to save money
-Wash clothes in cold water whenever possible. As much as 85

percent of the energy used to machine-wash clothes goes to
      heating the water.

b.  Save water to save money
     -  Turn off the faucet when you are not use it.
      - The water that use for washing vegetables, fruits or rice can use
         to water the plant.
      - Put a pail outside when raining, and the rain water can be used
        for washing the car.

 c. Less gas= more money
       - Use public transport can reduce the increasing of gas and more
cheaper than you driving a car by yourself.
      - Walk or bike if the place just nearby your house.
      - Share the same transport with your friends, colleagues,
neighbourhood and family when go to the same place.

 d. Eat smart
     - Try to not eat too much seafood
     - Try to become a vegetarian

f.  Use reused bottle
     - Use the bottle that can be recycle or reused.
     - Don't use the bottle which just can use one more time.

g. Buy smart
    - List out the things you want to buy on a paper
    - Just buy the things you really needed not you wanted
    - Don't buy the things that not always use
